The 1st Caroon and Animation Carnival was initiated in Hefei on Sept. 6. 8 major events of the carnial, including the selection of the city’s mascot designs and the competition of cartoon works in Anhui, will be held in the following month. It is reported that the carnival aims at pushing forward the cultural industry as well as creating a dynamic modern living environment for people in the city.
